How to Use the Victor Reader Vibe

Download, print, and cut out:

Overlay for Victor Reader Vibe (pdf format)

Materials for overlay:

Scissors
Single Hole Punch
67lb Cover Stock (optional)
Tape

Directions:

1. Print the PDF file on heavy paper.

Note: When printing an Adobe PDF, make sure the "Page Scaling" setting is set to "None." Otherwise the printing will not yield the correct size. See the sample Print box below from Adobe Reader 7.0 (older versions of Adobe Reader for Windows or Mac, or Preview for Mac, might have slightly different print windows and may require changes to the scale size):

2. Cut out one of the circular overlays (the print-out includes 3).

3. Cut along the dotted lines.

4. Punch holes (with a hole-puncher) for easy access to the buttons on the Vibe.

5. Place the overlay on top of the Vibe for easy reference to button functions.

6. Put a small piece of tape on the edges to hold the template in place and to prevent it from curling.

LONG-TERM STORAGE INFORMATION
Please Note:
If the VIBE will not be in use for a long period of time, like summer time for schools, then the user should fully charge the VIBE and remove the battery before putting it away in a dust-free environment. This should get the VIBE to work in September or after the time period instead of having a totally drained battery.

IF YOU CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTY USING THE VIBE, PLEASE CONTACT RFB&D'S MEMBER SERVICES (National Headquarters) AT 800-221-4792 OR EMAIL: custserv@rfbd.org.
