Jessica Lampros Named Development Director for RFB&D’s New Jersey Unit

PRINCETON, NJ--Jessica Lampros of Bloomfield has been named Development Director of the New Jersey Unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) of Princeton.

The New Jersey Unit has recording facilities in the Princeton area and provides educational outreach services for almost 500 member schools throughout the state. The unit’s volunteers recorded more than 8,000 hours of educational material for individuals with visual impairments or learning disabilities such as dyslexia. The New Jersey Department of Education reports that nearly 100,000 students in the state could benefit from the accommodation the organization provides. The nonprofit’s national headquarters is also in Princeton.

Lampros has worked in financial development at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and WYBE Public Television. She is a graduate of Oberlin College in Ohio.
